Our goal is to help vulnerable communities around Canada!
We have organized soup kitchens, donated PPE and essential items to homeless shelters, and fundraised over $4000 to support the homeless in Ottawa.
We plan on continuing to help underserved communities throughout 2021!
Lockdowns and social distancing are essential to lessen the impacts of COVID-19, but for many people, this can result in loneliness and mental health issues.
Those who are ill, living in homeless shelters and retirement homes are particularly at risk for these problems, and we're here to support these individuals.
We are currently partnered with the following shelters:
Cornerstone Housing for Women
Shepherds of Good Hope
Interval House of Ottawa
Youth Services Bureau
We are working to partner with hospitals and retirement homes for our upcoming project.
We recently launched The Caring Companion Project, where we aim to initiate a campaign to match volunteers to senior residents in retirement homes. Click this for more information!
